Donald Trump: Birther

As if Donald Trump wasn't whack-a-do enough, he has now come out with a rather birther-like stance about President Barry and his birth certificate. I guess this is getting press because allegedly Donald Trump is thinking about running for president. I don't really think he's going to, but I think he likes to be out there, stroking his own ego, and let others stroke it as well. (Yes, I know what sounds like, so keep your comments to yourselves!) I'm going to get behind what Jon Stewart told Extra TV when Stewart was asked what he would think of it if Trump did run for president. "A gift from God. That is, if he's to continue this, it would be a gift from God. He would be, in fact, gold-plating my living room. I'd be excited to see him do that." And while my living room wouldn't end up gold plated like Mr. Stewart's, I'd still have one heck of a good time with that one as well.

It came to light on 'The View' last week that Mr. Trump was more of a nutjob than I had previously thought. Personally, I can't watch 'The View'. All of those shrews talking at the same time in those shrill voices? And offering opinions based upon absolutely nothing other than their estrogen? No thanks. But I did catch the clip where The Donald said that he had "a little" doubt about whether or not President Barry was born in this country. He said something to the effect of there must be something on his birth certificate that he doesn't want people to see. He also thinks that it is weird that no one remembers him from early in his life. Where to begin?

First of all and for what I wish was the last time, he already has produced a copy of his birth certificate. There was also an announcement in the Honolulu newspaper after his birth. And finally, if there was anyone on the planet who would prove that he was not born in this country and thus ineligible to be president, it would be Hillary Clinton. Do you really think that she didn't have every single resource at her disposal working on this issue when she was campaigning for the Democratic party nomination? She wanted to be president so bad, she would have done just about anything short of murder in order to get it. (And really, I'm not even so sure that was ever off the table.)

But back to The Donald. Now, in an "exclusive" with Newsmax, Donald Trump has "...released his birth certificate" in an effort to...um...well...I don't know what the point of that was. One of the "points" that he makes is where he states "I went to the best college and I was a great student, and it is inconceivable to my brain that no doctor, no nurse, nobody has stepped forward to verify the birth, other than the governor. He remembers? The governor? A birth 50 years ago? Come on. He’s taking a bullet for his party." Oh, for cryin' out loud! Really?

That's the best that he can come up with? First of all, President Barry is 50. It would not be inconceivable for the people who were in the delivery room with him to be dead at this time. After all, his parents (who were a fairly integral part of the process) are dead. And I find it absolutely insane that when the governor says that he remembers the birth of Barack Obama (if that is what Donald Trump is referring to there) that it isn't good enough! That's what Trump wants, isn't it? For someone to come forward and say that they remember? Someone did! But on top of that, you know why it doesn't matter? Because he already HAS produced his birth certificate! What part of that don't those people understand?! (By the way, strangely enough, people have talked about remembering his birth. You can look at this article over at Snopes.com. Feel free to pass it on to Donald Trump if you happen to see him.)

But back to Donald Trump's birth certificate! When President Barry did provide a copy of his birth certificate, it looked like this:

OK. There it is. Also, there was this announcement (49 years ago) that appeared in the newspaper:

That's good enough for me. But Donald Trump, in some sort of weird effort to prove something, releases his birth certificate and it looks like this:

Are you kidding me!? THAT is acceptable to Donald Trump as something that proves someone was born in this country? I could make that on Photoshop in less than ten minutes! I could probably do it in less than five minutes provided that I already had a template and a nice star sticker on hand. Is it filled in with pencil? What the what is that anyway?! I have never seen a birth certificate that looked like that. Are we sure that Donald Trump was born in this country? What's underneath that sticker? What is he trying to hide?!

I find it amusing that this is still an issue with some people. Granted, I find it more annoying than I do amusing, but it's still amusing none the less. I guess that people don't realize how ridiculous they sound when they talk about not believing that President Barry was born in this country. They also don't seem to realize that when you sound like a gigantic fruitcake, it does very little to further your cause. That is, unless your cause is furthering fruitcakes. In that case, you're golden. But in the real world, you're a bit of a doofus, Mr. Trump.

I would like to point out, however, the hypocracy and ignorance of the left.

One of those cows on the View said something to the effect of 'you wouldn't demand a white guy show you his birth certificate'.

Actually, people DID demand that of John McCain, and he produced it. And actual birth certificate even though he was born outside the US but still within US territory.

Yet Obama, who was born in an actual state, can't show me an actual birth certificate? All he's willing to show me is something that ANYONE could get - if you and me had a kid in Maine, we could move to Hawaii and get the exact same document we've seen for Obama.

Was he born in the US? To be honest, I don't know. I do know that the US Supreme Court has said he's good to go, so the issue is over for me. He's fine to serve as President.

But I just can't help but wonder why has just won't show us the fucking thing and be done with it.

The only party that is desperate are the Republicans, but its to “kill the middle class”, they will lose!

Let me just say that Trump may just be “rattling the Birthers cages”, he can run or he may have grown accustomed to media attention this non-issue would create.

Our current President travelled under a USA passport long before he was elected President, but I guess the quacky BIRTHERS, must believe that the USCIS - United States Passport was in on the lie, please, grow up, you are wrong!

The Birthers just HATE and can't debate!
Have any of the quacky BIRTHERS presented any credible proof that will standup in court? Answer: No
Have any of the quacky BIRTHERS won any Court Cases? Answer: No
They are just mainly backward, uneducated, white people who HATE our half black President.

The majority of the voting public ask “where the proof”, show some proof BIRTHERS or the voting majority will continue to see you as dumb, stupid or racist, maybe all three. Can you blame them?

The only thing better than this is if “Sarah Palin” and Michele Bachmann join the run.

I really hope one of these retreads and blowhards runs for president, not because they have a chance of winning but because I like to see the train wreck that they will cause.

Faux News Candidates:
former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin ”The I graduated Early”,
former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga. “The I Love The Interns”,
former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee “The Huckster Reverend”,
former Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa. “The I Love the Gays”,
former UN Ambassador John Bolton “The I Love The War ”

I Finance Myself:
real estate celebrity developer, Donald Trump, “I took my Casino into Bankruptcy, just imagine where I can Take the US”
former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney “The Flip-Flopping Fudger”,
former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush “The I Am Not My “Dumb Ass” Brother”,

Employed Long Shots:
Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn. “The History, I Don’t Need No Stink’n History”,
Mississippi Gov./ former tobacco lobbyist, Haley Barbour “The last White Hope”

a) To be perfectly fair, people WERE asking Obama to show his before he got elected...

b) You know, they told me that if I voted for John McCain, we'd get into another war in the Middle East, violate the civil rights of prisoners, get new military tribunals, keep GitMo, we’d see rampant coverups involving cronyism and corruption, poor people would have their heat cut off, etc etc etc, and they were right...

"Our current President travelled under a USA passport long before he was elected President, but I guess the quacky BIRTHERS, must believe that the USCIS - United States Passport was in on the lie, please, grow up, you are wrong!"

I actually don't recall him traveling outside the US, however a BC isn't the only document you can use to prove citizenship.

Also, the US Citizens and Immigration services BETTER NOT BE the ones in on the act, since they don't deal with people who are natural-born citizens. You're thinking the State Department (the people who handle passports), and they are prohibited by several federal laws from releasing any information regarding your documents (including so much as saying what you showed when you applied for your passport).

"Have any of the quacky BIRTHERS won any Court Cases? Answer: No"

Oh. Well then. Clearly not having won a court case means that you will never win a court case.

Idiot. I'm really glad you weren't giving legal advice to Oliver Brown.

Look, a couple of things:

a) Not agreeing with the President, even thinking that he's doing a shitty job - doesn't mean I hate him. I would still gladly and PROUDLY take a bullet for him because his is the President. Failing taking a bullet for him, the shooter better pray the Secret Service beats me to him because I would by God kill the fucker. You don't kill the President. Period. You don't like him, you work to un-elect him. That's how the system works, and it is the only way the system works.

Sadly, not only do we apparently not hang people who try to kill the president anymore, we don't even keep them locked up forever in dark holes.

My opposition to Obama doesn't stem from his skin color and more than opposition to Bush stemmed from his. I think Obama is a shitty President - an empty suit who had never run anything, had never LED anything, and hadn't even really DONE anything besides get elected before serving a full term in any office he ever got elected to. His energy policy is potentially economy-killing, his spending wishes are potentially economy-killing, and his foreign policy is about as coherent and well-planned as the dinner menu for a schizophrenic bulimic (he insults allies, sides with foreign powers against his own citizens, and apparently is a member of the "if you talk at them enough they'll stop being bad" school of thought).

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - President Obama is going to make us all wish for the halcyon days of Carter.

Does Obama have a US BC? I have no idea. Probably, but no one has seen it in the last 20 years or so. But it's pretty fucking stupid to not just pull it out of the filing cabinet and prove it's there.

Or maybe not, since the idiots screaming "HE AIN'T THA PREZ-E-DENT!!" might latch onto something of greater substance (like the fact that he sent troops to go fight absent congressional approval, the fact that his administration has acted against court order, or that former members of SEIU working in the government have worked to block FoIA requests). Maybe he's saving it for a couple of days before the next election - but I doubt it, if only because it wouldn't do him again good.

Because for the first time in his life he's going to actually have to run on a record, and he's only good when you can't pin him to anything.

I am dealing with blockheads, you must know nothing about our US legal system and courts.

Let me be clear.

Take your case to a US Court (we all know you have no verifiable facts) and win or the voting majority will continue to see you as dumb, stupid or racist, maybe all three. Can you blame them? Everyone has been laughing at you (not with you) even the Supreme Court (Orly Taitz is a failure).

This BS that I saw something on the internet is funny but will not stand up in a US court.

Its on the BIRTHERS to prove to "The Rest of US" that their assertion is true, you must know nothing about our courts.

I am glad our President keeps winning in our US courts.

The BIRTHERS are republicans that are just mainly backward, uneducated, white people who HATE our half black President. They HATE and Can’t debate.

Hey, that's catchy... Maybe yo should make a bumper-sticker out of it...

I mean, it's right on par, intelligence-wise, with "Bush lied, people died"...

"you must know nothing about our US legal system and courts.

I apparently know more about it than you.

And really? You don't think 2nd Amendment backers are stupid anymore? Man, that SCotUS is magical, I tell you.
